Continuing Education Units
Lake-Sumter Community College offers the Continuing Education Unit (CEU) for approved noncredit continuous education programs. Programs approved for CEU awards must meet criteria set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. One CEU is awarded for each 10 hours of instruction and is the nationally recognized standard unit of measure that can be earned by participants in qualified programs of continuing education. Verification of CEU awards is available through Continuing Education upon request by the student.
