Need Money?

We can help your company find it! The Lake-Sumter Corporate and Community Services Department can help you find grants to help your company pay for training. Through partnerships with Workforce Florida, Workforce Central Florida and other organizations. Lake-Sumter Community College helped secure more than $1,500,000 to help area businesses with their training costs. Our staff can help you develop a training plan, help you fill out the grant application and assist you with coordinating training. The Department of Corporate and Community Services at Lake-Sumter Community College was created as a partnership to improve the quality of life in Lake and Sumter counties. We would not exist without the support and supplemental funding we receive from the community.

As we begin our second year of operation, we want to thank the many organizations who have provided input and support to the courses, programs and services offered by the department. We are committed to continuing to expand and improve our professional development, quick response training, business assistance and lifelong learning programs.
