Fingerprinting requirement

Field experience is a required component of most LSCC education courses. Prior to conducting field experience, students must have a level 2 fingerprint/background check done through the respective local school district. For more information about this requirement, go to http://www.sumter.k12.fl.us/jessica_lunsford_act.htm or call (352) 793-2315 extension 220 for Sumter County School District, or for Lake County School District either call Rachel Koenig at (352) 253-6536 or e-mail koenigr@lake.k12.fl.us.

Please contact the school district for fingerprinting at least 6 weeks before the start of the semester you plan on enrolling in a LSCC Education course.
