HESI Score Waiver

07/08 Admissions Process
Math- 80 Reading Comprehension- 80

For students making application in Spring 2008 to begin Bridge Track in Summer 2008 or General Track in Fall 2008 the above sections and minimum scoring will be used for selection purposes.

Students are required to prepare for and to test on all four scored sections indicated in the HESI Policy included in the appendix of the nursing information packet, page a-1. Completion of the two informational sections is equally required.

Results on all sections are necessary for departmental tracking. Additionally, students who do not apply for or who do not enter the program in this timeframe will need all sections for future application rounds.

This waiver specifically applies to the 07/08 admissions process for the classes beginning as indicated above. All scored sections included in the HESI policy will be used for selection consideration when the 08/09 admission round begins.

Selection Formula:

[(overall college GPA)(60%)][(HESI cumulative score/2)(40%)]
