Health Information Management Students will be expected to adhere to professional standards of conduct and code of ethics during each professional practice encounter. Additionally, students will understand and sign a confidentiality agreement prior to undertaking professional practice courses.
Documented evidence of a student’s failure to adhere to the standards or code of ethics cited in any course or professional practice setting will result in review and recommendation by the program manager as to the continued enrollment of the student in the program.
