Frequently Asked Questions

Got a Question? Got a Comment?

Check out the FAQs below, call us, or send us an e-mail. The LSCC Learning Centers are here for you and want to hear from you! Here are some answers to questions that we get asked frequently.

What is ACCUTRACK?

The ACCUTRACK computers track attendance and usage of the Learning Center labs on all three campuses. These computers generate reports for LSCC administrators: the software tracks the number of individual students who use the Learning Centers on the different campuses. It also keeps track of student hours and choices of lab services. This information is invaluable for documenting usage and planning for the future of LSCC Learning Centers. All lab users are requested to sign in and out on the Accutrack computer.

Do I need an appointment to use the Learning Center labs?

No, appointments are not needed. Just visit during scheduled hours.

Where are the Learning Centers?

The Leesburg campus is located on Highway 441, just north of the Lake Square Mall and south of the Leesburg airport. At the light at COLLEGE DRIVE, (there's a Cracker Barrel restaurant at the intersection), turn into the LSCC campus. Take the immediate first right turn onto the campus, then the first left to the parking lot. As you walk toward the College, the first building on your right is the LEARNING CENTER. Come into the building through the first double exterior door to the right, then go to the first interior door to the right for the English Lab or the third interior door on the right for the math lab.

The South Lake campus is located on Hancock Road in Clermont. From downtown Clermont, or US Highway 27, travel east on State Road 50 to Hancock Road (pass the water tower) and turn left at the light. From Ocoee and Winter Garden, travel west on State Road 50 to Hancock Road (before the water tower) and turn right. The campus is up the hill on the left, past the Super Target entrance.  The Learning Center is in Building 1, the lower building, Room 132 and adjacent labs.

[Note: The Open Computer Lab is located in Building 2, Room 347]

The Sumter campus is located on County Road 526A in Sumterville. Follow US Highway 301 toward Sumterville south from Wildwood or north from Bushnell and turn left or right respectively onto C.R. 526A and follow the road to the campus on the left. Facing the campus from the parking lot, enter the Clark Maxwell Library and Student Services Center on the right. The English and math lab are in the Library to the right.
