Log In to SMARTHINKING 
Using the Internet to connect students with professional educators, SMARTHINKING has the online tutoring, writing services, and homework help that students need to succeed. Tutors are available up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in a variety of subjects.
SMARTHINKING services are available for all LSCC students. If you have not yet created a SMARTHINKING account, go to the Create an Account Page and click on the blue button. When prompted for Borrower ID, enter your X-ID. The PIN is the last four digits of your social security number. You can choose your own username and password when creating the SMARTHINKING account.

Having Problems?
Review these trouble-shooting tips as a first step toward resolving your problems:
- Make sure that your browser is set up to allow cookies and pop-up windows. SMARTHINKING uses both of these.
- Make sure that you have Java installed and Javascript enabled. If you need to install Java, go to http://www.java.com, and follow the instructions for the free download.
- Make sure that you have Active X enabled if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser.
- Make sure that you have Flash version 7.0.19+ for Windows or 7.0.24+ for Mac OS X installed. If you need to install Flash, go to http://www.macromedia.com and follow the instructions for the free download.
