hobbies include reading and travel.

Ron Irmscher,
Math Tutor
Ron attended
Ohio
State
University
and worked as a teacher, as well as serving in the Marines, before moving to
Umatilla. His outstanding knowledge of and enthusiasm for mathematics allows
him to benefit students at all levels of ability. His interests include
horticulture and religion.

Lloyd Lindquist, Math tutor
Lloyd attended Grinnell \College,
Purdue
Univ.,
Univ. of
Ill., and other school in obtaining his BS and MS
degree. He had taught for more than 45 years at the Middle School, High School,
and College level. He has taught all levels of Math during this time span. He
has worked at LSCC for many years since moving to Leesburg in 1998. In his
spare time he to create items in ceramics, bike, read, write, and play the
piano. |

Joe Murray, Math Tutor
Joe attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and worked for
25 years as an engineer for Eastman-Kodak. He now lives in The Villages and has
for many years been the morning tutor in the Math Lab, his knowledge and
patience being invaluable to students at the college. His interests include
boating and golf.

Sherianne graduated from
Auburn
with a BA in English and Education, and then received her Master's in English
from
Florida
State
University.
In her varied career, she has taught English, computer, and GED classes at high
schools and colleges. Since 1999 she has been full-time with LSCC in the
Learning
Center and loves her job. Her hobbies
include reading and traveling.

Fitzpatrick, English Tutor

Rosemary graduated from
Mississippi
State
University
and has been teaching English at
Leesburg
High School for 26 years.
She has been a tutor and an adjunct instructor at LSCC for nearly 15 years. She
loves teaching English so much that she teaches during the day at LHS and then
tutors and/or teaches at LSCC 4 nights a week and on Saturdays! Her interests
include reading and cooking.

Ruth graduated from The University of Florida with a BA in Language Arts and received her masters degree from the University of Connecticut. She taught high school English for 31 years, 24 of those were at Leesburg High School. Her interests include gardening, reading and traveling. |

Larry Williams,
English Assistant
Larry was born in
Leflore
County,
Mississippi,
where he graduated from high school with honors and has continued his education
at the college level here at LSCC and on-line. Larrys sincere interest in the
students and his patience are very valuable skills. He has multiple interests,
including old automobiles and computers.

Richard Morrill,
Instructional/Reference Librarian
Richard received his B.A. in Government and Political Science from
the
University of
Maryland, his Master of Library Science degree from
Indiana
University, and his Ed.D. from the
University
of
Massachusetts in
Amherst. He worked as a librarian in the
research department of a pharmaceutical company before coming to LSCC's Sumter
Campus. He is a member of the American Medical Writers Association. His hobbies
include reading and traveling.

Elaine Swallow:

Elaine received her MS in Varying Exceptionalities from
Nova
Southeastern
University. She also has
18 hours of ESL and 18 hours of English. She has taught students of all ages:
pre-k to adult. She also has taught English to international students, ESL
students, and native speakers of English. She enjoys teaching, singing,
running, and hiking. |
