How a Bill Becomes a Law

Through this self study assignment, you will learn how a bill becomes a law. You will take part in the step by step process that a bill follows in its trip through legislative and executive decision making. When you complete the scenario for this bill, you will then need to use the information you have learned to organize the steps for other pieces of legislation that are included as quizzes at the end of this exercise. You will have mastered the information included in this assignment when you can correctly complete the exercises for how other bills become law. This process will be an important part of the Unit II exam.
