Find a birth defect that can lead to a health syndrome. Report on the health syndrome, its effects, treatments and other pertinent information. Use information from the following sources to help you with this project.

• March of Dimes: Birth Defects and Genetic Conditions- This website will provide you with a list and information on many common birth defects. Use this list as your starting point to find a birth defect that you can continue use for your project.
• Use Health and Wellness Resource Center as a starting point for reference information about many syndromes and conditions.
• Health, Nursing and Medical Databases will provide articles about medical and health topics for both consumers and scientists. The databases will provide both background reference materials and in-depth research on medical topics.
