My path to Lake-Sumter began in a rather ordinary way. I'm of Cuban and Lebanese descent and was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After high school graduation, I took a part-time job in my local public library. One day, after a career crisis, a friend at the library bopped me on the head with a magazine (literally) and suggested I become a librarian. The rest is history.
My husband, a teacher at Tavares High School, and I have been married since 1993 and moved to Eustis in 1995 where we still live with our three dogs, Max, Sherlock, and Sylvie. I enjoy movies of all kinds, scrapbooking, crocheting, shopping, reading, playing Rockband and cooking.
