What, if anything, would you change about the library's online resources?
#Response DateComment
.Thu, 4/6/06 4:27 AMWhy can't I use cookies so I don't have to log in every single time...
.Thu, 4/6/06 5:23 AMnothing!
.Fri, 4/7/06 3:02 AMSometimes, it's complicated to access the databases for finding journals. I had a class last semester that was killer for that! It was a pain, it would be cool if the library offered a tutorial on finding journals. Maybe something that people paid $15 bucks or something for, or if it was included in tuition prices. An option for the dummies (like me)! In my Psych class we actually got a paper showing us how to access some of the databases properly. It was a tremendous help.
.Fri, 4/7/06 12:38 PMWhile I understand the need for a reference section it is annoying that the books can't be checked out. Even a limited check out would be helpful.

.Mon, 4/10/06 12:58 PMOften times, the links to outside subscribed databases do not function properly. These web hosts insist on you inputting your password information repeatedly and authentication usually fails.
.Mon, 4/10/06 3:56 PMEvery time I have used theonline resource center, it has been of some help so to me there is no need for rivisal.
.Mon, 4/10/06 8:33 PMwhile the online listings for very cmoplicated at first, the librarians are very informative and always willing to help with any questions

.Thu, 4/13/06 4:31 AMIt gets kind of confusing when trying to narrow down resources.

.Thu, 4/13/06 3:35 PMeasier to find
.Fri, 4/14/06 2:06 PMAm not enthralled with having to log in one's library card number (or other potential identifiers in the future) in order to read online magazine articles (i.e., www.flelibrary.org)-- feels like "control issues".
.Fri, 4/14/06 4:28 PMMaybe have hand-outs about how to do proper citations by the front desk

.Wed, 4/19/06 3:31 PME-books can be read more frequently like many copies at a time instead of one
.Wed, 4/19/06 7:21 PMI would like a hard copy of the library's eBooks available. I much prefer to read from a book than a computer screen.
.Thu, 4/20/06 12:01 AMI love the online reasources.
.Thu, 4/20/06 1:35 PMN/A
.Thu, 4/20/06 3:41 PMthe library's internet connection could use a boost, during a visit the connection speed was down below dialup speeds. the library's website and searching tools are clunky and confusing, sometimes unreliable. they could use a re-design.
.Thu, 4/20/06 5:10 PMmake it easier to go from one database to another database
.Fri, 4/21/06 1:40 AMNA
.Fri, 4/21/06 1:40 PMnothing
