| 9. | Wed, 4/4/07 2:12 PM | In the computer lab, in the back room of the library, there are on USB drivers on the keyboard and one has to connect on the back of the CPU, it get tiring trying to move the CPU without unplugging an of the other cords which could become dangerous for those who are learn how to use new drives. Also the computers in the many part of the library, the Ctrl will not capitalize the letter; it does not work properly in any of those computers. One other thing that can be improved and will benefit the students is if the screens were flat, the big monitors that are now in the library take up a lot of space, limiting the amount of space for writing (when on is get information from the computer) and the space between people’s persona possessions. This will improve not only comfort but also safety. |

I BELIEVE THAT THE ALREADY HIGH COST OF TUITION PAYS FOR THE USE OF THE COMPUTYERS AS WELL AS THE COST OF THE PRINTERS AND SUPPLIES. I HAVE ATTENDED SEVERAL OTHER COMMUNITY COLLEGES AND JUNIOR COLLEGES IN FLORIDA AND NEVER HAVE THEY REQUIRED STUDENTS TO PAY FOR PRINTING MATERIALS RELATED TO SCHOOL OR NOT. PLEASE WILL YOU CONSIDER NOT CHARGING FOR THE PRINTING NEED OF YOUR STUUDENTS. THANK-YOU. |

It would be nice if there could be a "Late Night" that would help people who aren't able to get to the library during the day schedule during the week. One night open until 10:00 or 11:00 PM would be great especially for families.

I cannot afford the two hundred dollar suite, so I go to the library to work on it, but there are only two computers that have those programs, and they aren't marked in any way so that others won't use them unless they need to. It is difficult getting projects done waiting for computers to free up. |

| 46. | Mon, 4/9/07 1:56 PM | For some people the library is the only quiet place to study and it is upsetting when you make a special trip to the library for the only purpose of studying and not only are the students loud, but so is some of the staff. Some people call it the computer lab. I call it a library, that is what the maps show it as, so why is not treated as such. Also, when you go to someone working in the library about some people being loud they look at you say, "I know" shrug their shoulders and then don't do or say anything. |

I see the signs that say "NO CELL PHONES", however I rarely see anyone enforcing that rule. The library is supposed to be a place of concentration...it's hard to do that with cell phones. |

Also please consider making the back fire exit doors regular doors students are free to come and go through. Sometimes we have classes in that direction, or are coming from the parking lot, and are forced to walk all the way around the building just to get inside. |
