NURSE RECRUITER

The Nurse Recruiter functions as a mentor for the pre-nursing students providing support in the development of their curriculum plan and in navigating the admissions process of the nursing program. Student success is the goal of the Nursing Program and learning preference evaluation is available for every pre-nursing student in addition to providing information pertinent to that learning style and providing tutoring options where it may be necessary. The Nurse Recruiter position at Lake Sumter Community College is funded by the Community-Based Job Training Grant.
