What degrees/certificates are offered at LSCC? For a list of the programs and associate degrees offered at LSCC, please see the Degrees porition of our website or download the Catalog. The "Degrees and Programs" section contains information about the various programs offered (such as Certificates, Dual Enrollment, and Continuing Education) and the "Graduation and Discipline Degree Requirements" contains the graduation requirements for Associate in Arts, Associate in Applied Science, and Associate in Science degrees. Pursuant to Florida Statute (f.s.) 240.117 students who intend to enter a degree program at any public community college and non-degree seeking students who plan to take a general education course (English, math, humanities, social science or science) MUST take theFlorida College Entry Level Placement Test (FCELPT) for the purpose of assessing basic computation and communication skills prior to registering for class. Orientation is mandatory for all degree-seeking, first time in college and transfer students. Its purpose is to provide important information that will help students make the transition to LSCC. These are issued through security or the receptionist desk located in the MP Building, together with a brochure of parking rules and regulations.
